Factual TV/Doc's -Toronto
May 24th, 2005, 4:28pm

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some advice and Iím hoping you lot might be able to help?

I'm a television researcher /associate producer currently living and working in London. I'm thinking of moving to Toronto but Iím just trying to find out what the factual programming is like in Canada, and how do you find out about jobs in Documentary and factual entertainment?

are there any websites, magazines that list jobs or production companies or any advice?

Any help would be great thank you!!

Hi John,
Thank you getting back to me, I've had a look at Playback, which looks, like a great place to start.

I was completely lost so thank you for your help. I'm thinking of heading over next year to Toronto.  Unfortunately I’m not a dual citizen although my grandfather is Canadian. I think I’ll just have to sort out a visa to work.... is that hard to do??

And of course Schmoozing is essential.
